The Crystal Ball

On October 15, 2011, the Limestone Learning Foundation and special guest performers; Rob Baker, Emily Fennell, Chris Koster, Paul Langlois and Gord Sinclair, presented one of the biggest events to hit the KRC, The Crystal Ball Gala. Juno award winning and critically acclaimed Canadian singer/songwriter, Sarah Harmer finished the evening with an exclusive solo/acoustic concert. The Crystal Ball promised and delivered to be a feast for both the eyes and ears; offering a dinner, live & silent auction and concert that would raise the bar to higher standards for future events in Kingston.

"I am very thankful for the generous spirit in which the professional musicians participated in our gala event,” stated retired principal, Trudy McKeown. “We can never thank these wonderful people enough. They have created magical life-time moments that our student performers will remember forever.”

At the time of publishing, the Limestone Learning Foundation reported a ballpark figure of $70 thousand was raised throughout the night. What is most important about the event is that the LLF has achieved what they set out to do. Everyone in Kingston is now talking about the Limestone Learning Foundation.
