5th Annual International Women's Day Celebration

On Sunday March 4, 2012 the Italo-Canadian Club Ladies Association proudly hosted their 5th Annual International Women's Day Celebration to a sold out
venue. The ladies put together an exciting event to celebrate and to acknowledge the powerful impact that women have in our global community. The
event include a delicious, sit-down luncheon and fashion show featuring new looks from Kingston-area shops - including models of various shapes, sizes
and ages. As in past years, a portion of the event's proceeds are donated to a local charity. This year, proceeds will go to Dawn House Women's Shelter,
a non-profit, community-based charitable organization providing shelter for women and their children who are homeless.
Avi Jacob and Piper Curtis from KCVI's 91.9 The Cave Radio Station donated their time to provide music for the show. Stylists from Marrello's Hair Salon, donated their time to do up the model's hair for the show and make-up was provided by Alloette Cosmetics.
